T.C. McNett, representing Just Cruzin Life Foundation, www.justcruzinevents.com, presented Mary Ellen Gruendyke with a contribution of $3,000 that will go towards purchasing flags that will be placed at Riverside National Cemetery on Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day.
Mary Ellen’s husband Dick, a Viet Nam Vet and career Air Force Officer, was known for his commitment to his country and was in every way a “flag, mother and apple pie” kind of American. Dick passed away in 2007, which was when Mary Ellen realized the need to purchase flags and organize volunteers to place the flags at Riverside National Cemetery. Due to her efforts over 10,000 American Made Flags have been purchased but many more are needed.
Tim LeBlanc, President of General Monitoring Services (GMS) agreed to help get the message out about the need at Riverside National Cemetery to honor the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our great country to secure the freedoms that we enjoy. T.C. McNett heard about the 2010 Flag Project from Mr. LeBlanc, he knew that the Just Cruzin Life Foundation was just the organization to help out! This nonprofit corporation was specifically developed for the purpose of benefiting those less fortunate than ourselves. Their mission is to enrich the lives of children and veterans through financial contributions. They have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for those in need. Just Cruzin Production’s will be hosting the Wagon Wheel Country Music Festival on August 28th – 29th at the Lake Elsinore Diamond Baseball Stadium, , www.wagonwheelfestival.com for updates.
